Allied opened its doors in Riverside in 1958. The Olivas family took it over in 1981 and has run it ever since. Forty-five years of family ownership, all of it in the Inland Empire, all of it focused on one thing: helping local businesses outfit their offices without the runaround.
Carlos didn’t set out to be a furniture salesman. He set out to be useful. Over the years that turned into something closer to a general contractor for office spaces. Clients call with an empty room and a deadline. Carlos walks the space, asks questions about how the team works, recommends what fits the budget, sources from the right manufacturer for the job, and has the crew install everything before move-in day. That’s still how it works today. The catalog has gotten bigger. The product lines have evolved. The remanufactured cubicle program is newer than the business. But the core hasn’t changed: a family-owned local business where the owner answers the phone.
